Tattoo book

I chose to make both a pencil and ink outline book as the class recommended the pencil and visitors such as mr Bingo suggested an outline in ink.

I liked the book in pencil but thought it was missing to much and looked like it was just a book of images rather than stencil designs.

I do liked the stained paper and believe that created a nice old complexion for the work.

I did find that when put together these pencil drawings worked well, maybe they could be used as actual framed flash work rather than pages within the slaves of grace.

Certain images work better than others which is why I will frames some and leave others

There is a great collection of work which could be framed though.

For me these illustrations of tattoo outline work a lot better than the pencil drawings as the purpose will be for them to be traced around, this will work a lot better if they are already out line rather than toned items.

The tattooist themselves will be the ones to add texture and depth.

To me these items would look wrong to be framed whereas the pencil shadings would not.

luckily I spotted a mistake with the drawings in print.

I left my signature/ logo on the bottom right, it just so happened that when printed for some reason the printer cut off half of it.

I then canceled this print out and adjusted it and took it back until it was corrected.

As a set they look great, all that is missing are some leaves and a back cover.

I want my back cover to be plain so it looks as though it is a sketch book.
