Napkin

The dinner napkin when opened is 18x18" My idea for this was to draw a napkin that was a funeral suit napkin that when tucked into the shirt appeared as though the wearer had a change of costume.

I drew out the basic outline leaving a few inches on the corner where the napkin would be tucked in the shirt.

I then added texture.

Once texture was added it was necessary to then add colour

I put down the first dark layer.

Then built up the texture until it looked like the below

Once folded the napkin would look like this, as there are two sides to the napkin I thought it would be interesting if I made a female layout on the other side.

Plates

In my last crit I was told to use paper plates instead of real ones (which makes a lot more sense) I thought that just adding the face of the celeb on would be enough for these. so it is self explanatory.

I thought about decorating the plate with minor graphics such as a circular stroke.

But I chose against doing that and just incorporating the images as they are.

Moving portrait

The main idea across the portrait is from the left the hollow graphic paper shows a healthy live portrait of a famous deceased person, when you move to the right or catch it from a different angle a second image shows and it is that of a zombie version of that celebrity.

Halloween portraits.

These are a rough mock up of what the portraits will look like, I do think theres is something else I can do with them to make them a lot more interesting and spooky.
