octopus illustration

This image is exactly what I want to base my year on, after a lot of work and a good 7 hours of drawing I drew something I always wanted to do and never thought I could do and I did it.

I then tried using a different approach than usual and used different layers for colouring in.

I then added darker tones to the illustration to give it a 3D effect.

I then added highlights for a glossy effect.

I then added final touches of tone then coloured in bubbles of water which finalised my image.
