I began to give it a bit of character, I gave it one eye for a subliminal meaning 'one eyed snake' the rest of the characteristics I gave were represented by a dog as I drew out earlier I worked out that the character would be a sloppy dirty kind that you would find in many of family homes.
I added a patch to the sock, I made it a checked one and put it round about the neck of the sock to represent Travis Barker, the drummer of the band whom has a tattoo of racing flags on his neck.
I began to add depth to the illustration by creating layers and tones.
I figured that the illustration on its own was a bit to empty and boring
So I gave it a bit of character and depth with using different shades of the same colours used.
The detail was very cartoony and to a blink 182 fan based audience.
I liked the out come part way through and was very happy with how it was looking.
This was the first draft of it being finished.
I then looked into type, I used a regular typeface and used it as a skeleton to draw around and make a seamen like type face.
I want to do a few drafts of this until I am happy but this one is just an idea of what the design mock up and layout can be like.
I think that it needs to be a lot more drippy and messy.
I had a play round with colours anyway.
Then added a quick background but I am not sure wether or not I want to make this a big piece Like a stencil on a wall.
I tried the sock with a bit of mess around it which looked as though it was going to far.
